Premiere Pro CS6 will directly import XAVC-S (both 4K and HD) files no problem. I've tried it with raw test footage from a Sony A7III and the video looks just beautiful. All these file conversion software sites use this same argument, but it really has no basis. XAVC-S works fine with PP CS6 :
